This is an exciting time in technology. For the first time, authorship can be achieved without the blood, sweat and tears of the days before. No more do struggling young authors have to write queries and wait with anticipation for a publisher to write them back saying that they'll be glad to read...a page! No simultaneous submissions. Query first. Not accepting unsolicited material. If you've been in the writing world long enough, then those statement really mean something to you.
The millennium has ushered in new technology and is putting publishing in the hands of the authors. There are pros and cons, of course, but personally, just to see something that I've written and something that I'm passionate about lay in my hand in print... well then, it makes it all worth it.
I developed this site for the writers. The little ones, the big ones, the good ones and the not-so-good ones. Everyone is invited here of all levels and of all genres from the scrapbookin' queen to the 9 year-old little boy who wants to write his own Magic Tree House book. We all have the same passion, but we all just express it a little differently.
